Corrections & Updates
UFOPress corrects the record when it is wrong and shows when a story has materially changed.
How to submit a correction
If you believe something we published is inaccurate, email corrections@ufopress.com with the article, the specific passage, and — where possible — the record or source that supports the correction. We review every good-faith report.
How we handle corrections
- Factual errors are corrected promptly. Material corrections are noted on the article rather than silently overwritten.
- Material updates — where new evidence changes what a story establishes — are dated and, on our durable research pages, preserved in a change log so the evolution of a claim stays visible.
- An evidence status (Confirmed, Documented, Attributed, Unverified, Contradicted, Unresolved) may change over time; that is expected, and the history is kept.
Disputed claims
Where a claim is contested, we present the strongest supporting and strongest conflicting evidence rather than resolving the dispute by assertion.
