About UFOPress
UFOPress is an evidence desk for UAP news. We track claims about unidentified anomalous phenomena back to their underlying records, show what those records actually support, and update our coverage when the evidence changes.
What we are
The subject does not suffer from a shortage of coverage. It suffers from a shortage of ways to tell documented fact from allegation, to find the primary record behind a headline, and to follow a claim as it evolves. That gap — between an original source or public claim and the conclusion a careful reader should draw from it — is what UFOPress exists to fill.
We aim to be useful even to readers who disagree with our analysis, because the record, its provenance, and the remaining uncertainty are laid out plainly.
How we cover the record
Every substantial report tries to answer five questions: what happened, what is directly documented, what is being claimed beyond the record, what remains unknown, and what evidence would change the current conclusion. We use a consistent evidence vocabulary — see our Editorial Standards and Sourcing & Evidence Methodology.
Accountability
UFOPress is written and edited under a single, disclosed byline — The UFOPress Editor — so one accountable person stands behind every article. We correct the record when it is wrong and log material changes — see Corrections & Updates. We are transparent about how automated tools are used in our production process — see our AI & Automation Disclosure.
